N_gine LLC (pronounced “engine”) offers new software architecture, products, and supporting services for the real-time parallel processing of large volumes of financial transactions on multicore chips and blade servers.  The objective of the architecture is to process all relevant consumer and institutional financial decision-making reports each time a financial transaction is entered to the system, thereby shifting the overnight serial processing to instantaneous real-time.

N_gine parallel processes debits, credits, deposits, withdraws, contributions, distributions, buys, sells, exchange-ins, exchange-outs for updating balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, performance measurements, capital gains, pending income/expenses, pending capital adjustments, general ledgers, and transactions journals.  Thus, accounting, system integrity, audit, compliance issues, and policy controls are easily exercised.

N_gine’s architecture is based on the time-honored concepts of parameterization and massively parallel processing.  Parameterization customizes financial reporting to specific user need, encourages the integration of disparate financial applications into one system, extends solution life cycles indefinitely, and enables parallel processing.  Parallel processing creates 10x+ unprecedented productivity that challenges today’s corporate strategies and business models.

N_gine’s architecture consists of following four steps: (1) Parameterization of the entire financial transaction processing environment in terms of financial reports, financial transactions, and financial processes, (2) Decomposition of each type of financial transaction into a set of small, separate, and independent processes of same processing duration to achieve proper load balancing, (3) Allocation of the separate and independent processes across any number of separate and independent processors, and (4) Execution of all processes in overlapping fashion (true parallel processing) under full audit control.  Much of N_gine is patented.

N_gine’s automation success criteria are: (1) capture every transaction in every organization every day, (2) process every transaction (either originating or reversing entry) from point of inception (data entry) to permanent archive (data warehouse) without ever overwriting any original data, and (3) process every transaction to its logical conclusion so as to minimize if not eliminate subsequent downstream systems.  N_gine’s is suited for commercial banks, investment firms, broker/dealers, mutual funds, insurance companies, clearing houses, CFO functions, etc.

N_gine targets 50-90% code reduction, 5-10x productivity increases, and 30% greater ROIs than present automated systems.  N_gine’s microkernel not only fits into 2 GB of memory but also grows (if at all) in linear fashion as the volume and complexity of financial transaction processing grows exponentially, true software leverage.  N_gine properly positions both consumers and financial institutions for future global competition and profitability.

N_gine extends cordial invitations to attend conceptual presentations and live demonstrations on laptops (serial processing only) and quad-processors (parallel processing).  See contact above.
